|On the Run||Changes|
Escape is the twelfth episode of Season 3, and the thirtieth episode overall.
From On the Run, Alice told Oliver about his escape plus the travel through Compton Magna until he was going to be sighted by a diesel who would find out about him and attract other diesels to bring Oliver "dead or alive". Bear or known by his number D7101, told Oliver that he has to get going and the escape attempt that the GWR tank engine had to do. After losing much of the coal and no more steam left, a diesel takes him to a scrapyard and the tank engine was left for dead. Oliver was abandoned in tears and couldn't have a chance to reach his destination as Diesel spotted at the yard sniggered and laughed dreadfully at Oliver's sadness that he was going to be scrapped. After shouting "HELP!", Douglas took Oliver to the Island of Sodor as of interception by the night foreman and reaching the other side by crossing the viaduct.
At Crovan's Gate, Douglas left Oliver and Sir Charles Topham Hatt said to him that he can stay on the NWR forever. Back in 1973/1983, the railway signals were fixed and Alice after thanking Oliver for his story left the station with her passenger train.
