Knapford is a small town south of Tidmouth, the capital city of Sodor. The Fat Controller's office is inside the station here and where he spoke to the media about the bridge collapse in episode fifty-nine, Darkest Hour. The station and yards have appeared in many episodes of Sodor: The Early Years.
