Football Special is the second episode of Season 3, and the twentieth episode overall.
The Peel Godred Branch Line runs from Kildane to Peel Godred and ends at an aluminium plant just beyond the town. Two of the engines, Jeffery and Andy were having a conversation in the shed. Jeffery told Andy that he will take his goods train while he can takes a football special to Kirk Machan. Andy wanted to take the special, but Jeffery just makes fun of Andy. James arrives with the special from the main line, and Jeffery then takes the football fans to Kirk Machan.
Steve was concerned about Jeffery's transformer when he passed him. The special train arrived at Kirk Machan just as Culdee arrived. After the game, a 2-1 winner to the Sodor Strikers, the train was taken back to Kildane, but Jeffery's transformer suddenly broke and he stopped in the middle of the line. His driver called for help at Abbey station. Andy had to push Jeffery to the station where Henry was waiting to take the fans back to Knapford. Jeffery was then sent to the works.
