George Denis Patrick Carlin (May 12, 1937 - June 22, 2008) was an American stand-up comedian, author and actor.


George Carlin was an American comedian who narrated seasons 1-4 of the US dub of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. In Sodor: The Modern Years, Duncan idolised him and always watched his shows. That is, until he passed away on June 22, 2008 at the age of 71 due to heart failure.
