|Position||Waste transporting (formerly ballast transporting)|
Hopper 006 is a tricky hopper, who caused the trucks to misbehave.
During the final three-part story arc of Season 2 of Sodor: The Modern Years, Hopper 006 causes the trucks to play tricks on the engines, even though they've had years of good behaviour from them. Diesel discovers him talking to the trucks in Knapford Yards, telling them to bump the engines. Diesel concludes that Hopper 006 must be dealt with, as he is getting the trucks to do his dirty work, while they pay the price.
After Emily Helen Hatt was given proof that Hopper 006 was the one causing trouble on the Little Western, which was a recording of Douglas' train breaking away and Hopper 006 jumping the rails and rolling into an embankment, the latter was made use into a waste hopper, in which he was used for transporting waste materials from the steamworks to the mainland.
Hopper 006 is based on a BR ZFV "Dogfish" ballast hopper. Hopper 007 is another member of this class.
Hopper 006 is painted maroon with grey railing.
