Norbridge is a station on British Railways, located twelve miles from Barrow-in-Furness. It was where Winston's plaque was dedicated after he was wrecked by an ammunition explosion. The station only appeared in the episode Iron Hero.
Bio
In 1944, Winston was passing through the area with an munitions train, but was called out to help a failed locomotive, 'Mary'. Two hours later, the first van on his ammunition train caught fire in which Winston's fireman decoupled the burning van, and Winston pulled the burning van away from the station. He and his driver were killed five miles from the station in which a plaque was hung on the station dedicated to Winston and his driver.
It is unknown if this was the station nearby the siding where Alice and Mary were withdrawn in the mini-series Barry the Rescue Engine episode 2, Testing Times.
