Pip and Emma are two high-speed diesels, that were introduced in season 2 of Sodor: The Modern Years.
Bio
The two high-speed diesels were brought in to take over the express for Gordon, after the changeover of engines at Barrow was taking too long. They take the express from Knapford all the way to London.
They, along with Gordon, helped reunite Michelle Johnson with her family after she ran away from home and hadn't been seen for two years. A special shed was built for them next to the normal ones.

Pip and Emma are British Rail Class 43 power cars.

- WildNorWester has stated that Pip and Emma will be treated as separate locomotives, rather than power cars. A special shed had also been built for him next to the regular Knapford Sheds.
- They are the first SI3D 2012 models to be used in the series, and were actually commissioned from SI3D by WildNorWester.
