Vicarstown is a small town on the eastern side of the Island of Sodor.

The North West Railway built their terminus and headquarters here in 1915, but after a 1925 agreement with the LMS to stop NWR trains at Barrow-in-Furness, there was no further use required. A smaller replacement station was built for the engines operating car ferry service, the turntable was relocated at Barrow and the headquarters were relocated at the other end of the Main Line, at Knapford. This station is also the terminus of the Norramby Branch Line. There used to be a 5-berth roundhouse here but since the arrival of Evan and Edwin and Owen in 1996, it was ripped up along with the turntable and was replaced with a 4-track diesel shed.
